Have I missed something here?
Is the implication that the gov here is clamping down on torrent sites or is this thread about the demise of TPB?
Kickass remains the best there is along with Yify for films etc.

I noticed once that the local Argentine internet service provider was blocking DNS lookups for certain sites. Switching to Google's DNS fixed the problem. https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

Note that this solution won't work if they're blocking traffic to the IP numbers. In that case, you'll have to use a proxy or VPN.

It's indeed much more difficult to find torrents now (legal ones of course)

They are all legal so just go for it.
