Russians like to speak in proverbs So do Argentines.Do you know "El Refranero Criollo"? This Russian proverb proved very true last week in Axel K.'s visit to St. Petersberg negociating with his Russian counterparts in an effort to unlock about U$D 2bn they promised for an infrastruture project in Argentina.Not surprisingly,the Russians required an entity to audit and monitor the disbursement of these funds.Axel K. proposed La Universidad de La Plata.The Russians said no.They want at least 3 international auditors to do the job and proposed the 1st one:; KPMG- a Swiss Corporate headquartered in the Netherlands.I wonder why not La Plata U.
