I don't want to mis-characterise your post, are suggesting that Argentina is in a similar situation to that of Germany in the 1930s?

It's funny seeing people call Carlson a "journalist", the man is a pathological liar, two faced to even people he supposedly likes, and deeply unhinged. Did anyone else read some of the texts he sent that got him shitcanned at FOX? One of them he talks about "that's not how white men fight" (saying the quite part out loud, Tucker) and that he lusted to see Antifa protester violently murdered, before lamenting that he realized something was deeply wrong with him for saying this.

That being said, a broken clock is still right twice a day; him saying inflation is bad here or not to look directly at the sun aren't false just because he's saying it, it's just important to realize that the silver spooned son of Patricia Swanson is a deeply unwell person, even if he occasionally gets things right.

Also, as to caves closing, the government raids the ones that double as brokers and do arbitrage for the Blue/MEP/CCL. It gives Aníbal Fernández a chance to dress up as a cop; they wouldn't actually raid the regular caves because that only sends the blue shooting up.

For sure this Tucker Carlson is using Milei for his own US-related purposes. That's as expected.

Maybe it's more relevant for Argentina to see what Milei and his coterie of dictatorship apologists are doing, after meeting pushback for his dollarization dreams from more serious, experienced, economists, he's pivoting into the arms of the international far right, Bolsonaro, Musk, and Tucker among others. It's an interesting and instructive preview of where a Milei presidency would look for support.

This is the correct take. Tucker doesn't care about Argentina, he just sees it as a way to criticize the left in the US. If the Dems continue we will end up like Argentina. That's his message.

Most of the inflation experienced in the US was due to the PPP and stimulus checks - under Trump - but agreed upon by both parties.

Argentina is a horrible comparison to the US because the US can borrow in their own currency meaning they can run an enormous debt and their debt gets cheaper, not more expensive. One of the perks of having the world reserve currency. And no the dollar isn't collapsing.
