Hi Everyone,

Just an FYI, it will be published in the Boletín Oficial tonight that tomorrow, Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 will be a national holiday.

National Holidays apply to both the Public and Private sector, and as such expect many businesses to be closed or have reduced/limited
hours (as was going to be the case in CABA/GBA anyways, but now even more so, and country wide).

Banks and AFIP will apparently operate until noon according this article in La Nación, but take that with a grain of salt as on Sunday none
of the chain supermarkets even opened when La Nación said they'd be open until noon.

As well, the route plan for the La Scaloneta is as follows:

- Depart the AFA HQ in Ezeiza at Noon
- Travel along the Ricchieri Highway (A002) then
- Take the Dellepiane Highway/25 de Mayo then
- Drive up 9 de Julio where it will go to Libertador/Figueroa Alcorta then
- take General Paz to return to Ezeiza

The best places to see it will likely be along 9 de Julio if you're in the South or Eastern parts of CABA, or the Hipodromo/parks
in Palermo if you're in the West or Northern parts of CABA, but I don't promise it will be anything but a zoo anywhere tomorrow.

Good Luck!

Just posted on the WU thread: if it's Tuesday in Argentina, it must be a (well deserved and hard earned) holiday!

Mundial Great XP, days without political discussions on TV . A different Argentina is possible..?
Fabulous No Grieta now . Inflation , dollar Blue, etc. all things of the past...?

A deserved moment of happiness for a suffering group, very emotional for adults and children.
Larger crowds than for the Return of Peron, Messi Greater than Peron ?. Messiii.....Messiiii que grande sos.
Worried for millions walking now on the freeway..!
A unique lifetime experience for many
Enjoy..... like Cinderella.

they just said on TN that they aren't going to say now the plan. to prevent people from rushing to that area and blocking them again. 😂

All flights from AE and EZ suspended , no one can reach the airports. Plans to evacuate players by air from AE. Bus may not go to Obelisco...! OMG.
Ambulance service tough...

I got out of Eze with about 10 minutes to spare this morning. It was a madhouse. So glad my plane landed super early.

It’s all over - people started jumping off bridges into the bus and one missed the bus and fell head first onto the road below. They guy almost took Messi with him…

These are the same people that complain about city police putting up barriers to keep people safe, now complaining that there were no barriers in place to stop this accident waiting to happen.
