The Turkish army says it has killed up to 100 Kurdish rebels in a week of air and artillery strikes on suspected PKK bases in northern Iraq.
A statement on the army website said that, according to its estimates, between 90 and 100 were killed and more than 80 wounded.

"The Turkish army says it has killed up to 100 Kurdish rebels", (read at least 100 civilians living in Kurdish region). With over 132 targets bombed, it looks like the Turkish army wasn´t too concerned about civilian casualties.
I can´t say too much, though, as it´s pretty similar to when US bombs only hit "insurgents."
Northen Iraq used to be the safest region during the current war there. It will be interesting to see if the regions gets more dangerous due to things escalating between Turkey and the PKK or if the two sides continue with spaced out back and forth attacks
