Has anyone ever gotten a roast turkey from a rotisserie place in the city?

I know Kansas does them but the price is pretty steep for turkey.

Just pay what it costs. It's a special day. What isn't expensive in BA these days? Oh, yes...the colectivo.

Why not roast it yourself? It's easy.

You can buy turkeys here (they're smaller than the bohemoths that usually are on the table on turkey day) at a fraction of the cost of buying one pre-cooked...

@MizzMarr:

Where? I have been looking in preparation for "El Dia de Turkey" as my friend says. I have a small-ish oven so the 20lbs "freakishly large bird" would not work anyway.

At the Market in Belgrano. Free range and any size you want. Delivered to your house fresh.

Sorry if this is obvious, but which market in Belgrano? El Galpon? I'm doubting it's El Galpon but it's the only one I know.

There is a market place with many shops inside. Look for "la grange" [or something like that] It's a poultry shop and they have fresh turkey. Or you can order and have it delivered on the proper date. There is also a Valente [sp] cheese store inside the market with some really good cheddar and Stilton.+++++++

The market I believe they are talking about it the one on Ciudad de la Paz & Juramento.
