Typical settlement for someone being made redundant

How does it work here if the employee was working “en negro”? in terms of redundancy payments is it the same as normal employment? Apart from that, in some cases it would be difficult to prove for how long someone was employed, and also what salary was paid etc

In addition, would the employer then also get a problem for not having paid social contributions etc. if the case went to court? Would the employee get a problem as well? (The latter i doubt)

Absolutely the employer would have a huge problem. They still have all rights even if in Negro and even if they never received them. If they go to this justice you are f#%€d. They don’t need to “prove” anything. The employee is unlikely to have problems as they would usually be the “victim” in the case.

Hiring in the black is just as risky as hiring in the white, however usually both parties have an interest in avoiding taxes etc. which means it is hugely common and even preferred by a lot of labour.

Hence the importance of good relationships and reaching “agreements”.
