According to INDEK there are
11 million people who qualify to work, 935.000 of them are unemployed,1.100.000 are under employed
Argentina has 38.000.000 people, about 24.000.000 people are between 25 and 65
Why do only 11 million qualify according to INDEK?
Where are the people who are employed in public works?
Where are the people that live of the state in the plan the Jefes y Jefas plan?
My guess it would be something like this
Total population fit to work = 24.000.000
Unemployed = 2.000.000
Umployed by the state = 2.000.000
Off the books employed = 6.000.000
Employed = 14.000.000
Under employed = 6.000.000

Is this more likely?

Is it more likely? Ever heard of regression analysis, show me your math including your sample and variables. Check with the indec because off the books employment may actually be a variable.

Off the book employment was at about 35% at the last count I saw
