Tello supports Wi-Fi calling, which allows making voice calls and sending SMS over a Wi-Fi connection instead of a cellular network. The Tello number is treated as a regular mobile number (not VoIP), so it works for 2FA verification with banks etc., as it isn’t flagged as VoIP.You use Tello abroad? How does it work? Thanks!
Wi-Fi calling itself is quite common across carriers. What makes Tello different is that it is expat-friendly. For example, eSIM can be activated while abroad, and accounts are not suspended due to lack of domestic usage.
