I used the title of the story as the title of this thread, but it can be a bit confusing. It's not actually about fuel exports or exports to the USA. The gist of the story is that the USA will be pressing a lot more of its own soybean crop for soy oil to make into "bio diesel". Since creating one ton of soy oil means creating 4 tons of soy meal as a byproduct, it is expected that the USA will now be exporting huge amounts of soy meal, thus competing with Argentine exports.
 
The article doesn't mention where soy meal is consumed... most of it is consumed by China's pig farming industry. Is China going to allow tariff free access for US soy meal? I doubt that very much, I think Argentina can relax for the time being.
