Where do you buy furniture/kids stuff? We just rented a very partially furnished apartment, and need to get 2 beds for the kids, some bean bags, storage bins..used would be great since we'll only be here 18 months. Oh, and a TV.

If you want to save a lot of money, there is a Jewish agency (Zedaka?) on Serrano St near Corrientes Av. They sell used stuff donated by private citizens. Call and find out if they have what you need

Not sure if it's the same one, but there is a "fundacion tzedaka" who do auctions (subasta) on mercadolibre. Just login and look up "fundacion tzedaka" and the items will appear. I bought a lovely vintage screen from them a few weeks back.
