But we are not satisfied...
We want to make our sites even better and design and build new sites to expand our portfolio / reach, so we are looking for a talented User Experience (UX ) / Design professional.
As the UX Designer / Product Manager you will play a leadership role in the creative aspects of designing and creating the interface elements, screen treatments, graphics, workflow and overall look and feel of Petplace.com, PetProductAdvisor.com and other new and exciting projects.
Duties
- User Experience Design: Assessing & designing the most effective approaches for our users to interact with our applications, including workflow, methods of interaction and desired user response/ feelings
- User Interface Design: Translating functional user requirements and experience parameters into treatments/ mockups, including look, feel, functionality and layout
- Graphics Design: design and develop visually appealing graphics that fulfill the goals of the user experience
What you need:
- 3+ years work experience with web-based software and graphics design
- Creative and an elegant sense of design
- A strong ability to conceptualize user needs and translate these needs into optimum designs
- A strong understanding of web design & graphic standards
- Self-starter, creative thinker and ability to take initiative and work independently
- Familiarity with prototyping tools and the ability to rapidly prototype/ develop wireframes
- Comfortable with HTML, CSS & Javascript
