Anyone here who bought an apartment or put utilities in their name in Buenos Aires without having a residency card?
Were you able to do it, or did you find a workaround?
Would appreciate hearing how you handled it if you’ve been through it.

It is possible but difficult.
Since covid, much harder.
None of the online utilities sites are able to do much without a DNI.
I have had success going in person to the offices, with proof of ownership ( title) passport, andif you dont have a dni, see if the cops will still do a proof of residency at the address form.
I had one form like that where they actually came by and checked but more recently I went to my local cop shop with passport and proof of ownership and they just handed me one.
Nothing is for sure, however.
