Washable Paint For Walls

nativexpat.. having used low sheen paints in hospitals, its not always the paint that demands extra coats, its the applicator. one good coat works when not changing drastically different colors. going from a very dark color to a neutral color is always a problem. roll one juicy roller forward and 2 back. blend the wet edge. hope this helps.

Wow, guys, thank you for all the expert advice. As soon as I get over my flu, I will make a trip to the store and apply all the advice! You were all very helpful! Gracias!

You can get better brushes made in Brazil at Sodimac, but they are more expensive if you compare them with the usual stuff from Home Depot.

I finally got permission from my landlord to go ahead with the paint job (he is covering the cost of the paint). The apartment was painted with white acrylic paint 6 years ago. Now there are some minor stains and no other problems with it. (I would just leave it as is, but my wife wants to have a fresh paint job before our baby is born).

With my less-than-good Spanish, I went to "Easy" and bought some paint, but I want to check if what I got is what I actually need. Can you please look at the photos of the paint and tell me if it's the right stuff?
I bought washable "latex" paint. I was also advised to buy what I understood to be "clear coat", but I don't know whether to apply it before or after the latex paint...

P.S. I also bought an expensive roller, brush, extension stick, paint tray, cardboard to cover floors, plastic to cover windows, gloves, steps, and extra bucket to mix clear coat with water (that's what I was told to do at the store)
