I know the water in the city is safe to drink. But someone told me it has dangerous chemicals in it. Is this true or an urban legend ?

High levels of arsenic are present in multiple areas of the city and conurbano, Though not everywhere. As far as I recall it's mostly dangerous for children/long term. Other than that it's usually ok.

There was an article in la nación a while ago which shows all the effected areas, should come up if you search.

Good luck!

Doesn't taste too good here, either. I do drink it now and then if I have run out of bottled water.

Go to the closest public school to your home and ask. In my barrio school tests water and sticks results to the wall from time to time.

Hello, everybody. In CABA we have drinking water. Maybe you would feel more safe by using a water purifier filter or even more simpler, you could boil water.
