What products are more expensive or hard to get in AR?

I echo all of the above regarding beauty products, bring shampoos if they don't like pantene, I bring Paul Mitchell Tea Tree and Moroccan Oil hair mask for example, make up here costs double or more so bring that.

To add, bring razors, Venus or whatever brand the ladies use and enough replacement razors to last while you're here. The options here are either horrible plastic disposable razors that cut my legs up or wax, so it's not really surprising that most choose wax!

i would recommend bringing as many clothing items as you can pack, especially if you are going to be here for a while. clothes here are very expensive, even in the "thrift stores". they don't do discounts like in the states...whereas in the states something marked half off will actually be half off, here they just jack up the prices and then mark it half off so even sale items can be pricey. also, buying things like underwear and socks gets pricey...and the cheapest things you can buy are crappy china made stuff.
