I am not sure this is the right place for this question so if it is not, let me know where I can go to find out.

I am looking to hire a nanny, 3 boys (4-7-10) and a dog, 3 hours per week, to make them dinner and put them to bed, this wold only be for one month while my wife is out of the country.

I have been looking at profile on the forum but before I talk to any of the girls I would like to know what the going rate is, can anyone help?

Hello

Salary usually depends on job duties, number of children and total hours needed. Now 3 hours per week is very little but should not be too difficult to find help since it is only for one month.

On average nannies are earning between 30-40 pesos per hour. In this case, since it is only 3 hours per week and there are 3 children, 40-50 pesos per hour seems fair.

Hope that helped a bit.

I agree with lovelylu. Once the agencies take their cut the 25-35 doesn´t seem very much. The subte costs 5 pesos to get there and back.

Do they do Christmas specials? Say, pay for two children get one free?

Did you mean 3 hours per day? 3 hours per week (presuming Mon - Fri) is 36 minutes per day to cook, feed them and put 3 kids to bed. What about bathtime, stories, cuddles etc...? If you can find someone to do all that in 36 minutes please send her my details.. ;)
