What's on your BsAs wishlist?

You should check out some street food in countries like Colombia and Mexico, or even in our very own Gran Buenos Aires! Food stands are small businesses run by and patronized by local people. They often have simple seating and tables and are a great way to interact with the community while having an affordable meal or snack. They exist in the Conurbano and some parts of CABA, but it would be cool to see more in CABA
A great city is one where you can choose among a variety of culinary experiences, including two hour lunches :D
No thanks. I prefer BA's classic food culture. I don't want to be like Colombia or Mexico.

I hate the food here. But I'd still prefer it to stay the way it is. There are enough global cities around the world already. Some of us came here yearning for something still reasonably authentic.

I like the fact that the city is not perfect. It prevents it from being over crowded.

After COVID, there has been a lot of propoganda by influencers on X in promoting BA to the world. Thankfully. it has become SO expensive that most passport bros can not afford it.

BA continues to be my favourite city on the planet. Feel blessed to be living here as yet and after completing 17 years here.

I like the food when it is cooked properly. I like milanesas al horno, not fried. I don't care for garlic or a lot of heavy spice. I like beef. I do wish there were more fish and affordable fish. I lament the vanishing parrillas with waiters in white tunics and brass buttons, napkins over their arms. I hate the international style restaurants with their bare tables and exotic menus. I wish Argentina would go back to being more Argentine.

You can buy different varieties of fresh fish and seafood at Chinese supermarkets (affordable prices) in Barrio China. I personally like this one: Ichiban Supermarket. Arribenos 2233 Belgrano.

My BsAs and hope for country is the ousting of this venal, dominating Oligarchy that's causing the suffering of millions. And, yes, better cheese.
