Usually it lags not too far behind, but dolarblue is up around 12 now, I've noticed price hikes on everything recently, and yet Xoom holds around 9.8, which is lower than it was like two months ago. What's up with that? Need to get money out but I'm feeling ripped off.

It doesn't use the blue rate it uses the "contado con liqui" rate

You could use: https://www.riamoneytransfer.com they pay 11.155 pesos at least.

Yes, but according to dolarblue.net, even the contado con liquidacion rate has been over 10 for a while. Like I said, a little while ago I used it and it was also over 10 at Xoom, but it's been on 9.8 for a while now and it's frustrating me. Anyone else have any experience with this Ria Money Transfer site? Is it safe/reliable/fast? Where do you pick up the money, etc.?

It works pretty well - I have sent money to a friend with DNI here many times. If you use a debit card then you can pick up the money the same day. Using a checking account has lower fees but takes a few days (4-5 work days in my experience). One thing that did not work that well was depositing into an account in Argentina. I tried that once - but we ended up picking up the money at the local agent (ArgenPer) instead.
