I'm planning to travel to Argentina at the same time as the next legislative election. So I can view the spectacle. I see on Wikipedia it says October 26, 2025 is this correct?

I'm not sure about the exact date, but there's really not much to see (unless you're an Argentine and can vote?). They close down most of the bars the night before, or just serve soft drinks (no drinking and voting!), and voting is on a Sunday, so people are out and about as usual; they quietly go to their polling places and do their ballot thing.

If you wanted to see Milei give some rousing chainsaw talk, that would probably happen in the weeks before. All campaigning ceases in the 48 hours before voting.

There may be public speeches on inauguration day, which was in December when Milei won. For me the best part about the inauguration were the kooky costumes and the horse parade, but YMMV. I swear he looked up at me and waved as he cruised down Av de Mayo in his open convertible, and my first thought was of the Kennedy assassination, because the angle and distance was eerily similar to the Dallas book depository. I think someone else on his staff had that thought too, because he's not done that since.

I have no idea, like so many things in BA I heard about events after the fact, never before.
Maybe you have to get on a list or make a donation or something?
I was vaguely aware of when he was doing that singing thing downtown, but I figured it would be a mob.
I love a spectacle even if I didn't jive with his MAGA style rhetoric, so I might have gone out of curiosity. It will be interesting to see if there's as much fervor for LLA in the midterms, or if patience will have worn thin by then. My only friend who voted for him is not thrilled with how it's going, but that's obviously a small sample size .
