Where can I buy a BATHING SUIT????

So where to buy a bathing suit here, seems to me like trying to get a picture of Big Foot, why does it seem so difficult? The closest I´ve come to finding any, is finding people that make them, and I´d simply like to go to a store and buy some freaking swimming shorts.

Please help, any info would be much appreciated! Thanks

you might be having trouble because winter just ended and swimsuits are just coming "into season". I've never gone swimsuit shopping in February/March in the States, but we're roughly equivalent to that seasonally at the moment. As Lee said, yeah, suit stores are all over the place when suits are to be had. Try the malls, or galerias around town.

I'd just look for any where that has a billabong or hurley sign in the window. There's on on cordoba and florida (or maybe san martin) that I walk by everyday. A few others on santa fe close to alto palermo.

Any of the mens' stores usually produce swimsuits, however they won't necessarily be in stores until november or so.

Lee has some used Speedos you can buy cheap.

There is a swim gear store on Vidt right off of Santa Fe (on the Carrefour side). There is also a swimming store on Scalabrini Ortiz and Arenales.

Go to a mall...Alto Palermo comes to mind.

This is NOT a hard thing to do!

Wow Lee thanks a million for this insightful suggestion!!! Why didn´t I think of going to a Mall like Alto Palermo or Abasto and pay a very inflated price for a bathing suit? Which will probably end up being some nice pretty fashionable board shorts, which I already have!!! If you must know, I´m looking for a little something more in particular, not exactly speedos, that I can swim laps in, since, board shorts are wonderful for a day out in the beach or the pool, but not exercise.

Nonetheless thanks to the other very helpful posters!!! Advice much appreciated!!!!
