Where can i find online SpyWare and Virus Protection... FREE?

OK,
So my Anti Virus and SpyWare protection has worn out.

What is the best online FREE, software kit?
And where do i do to find it....?
I would like one that is user friendly, and actually does its job.....

Ryan, what platform are you running on? (ie: operating system such as Windows, Linux or Mac OS) If you're running windows you might want to try this link:

While you are downloading and installing it, it will keep nagging you to upgrade to the paid-for version. Ignore the nags - the free version is brilliant and unobtrusive

Definitely AVG Anti-Virus for the anti-virus solution, but I also like to use Spyware Doctor for anti-spyware. You can download it for free as part of Google Pack at http://pack.google.com.

They may ask you to upgrade to the pay version, but I have found the free version from Google works great and removes spyware that many other programs do not. I do not eve use Spybot, AdAware or any of the others now.
