Where is a good place to buy nice curtains. I've walked in to a few shops on the street but none of the fabrics seem that impressive. It all seems to be synthetic.

Does anybody know where to find some heavy pile cotton velvet curtains.
 
You could check in Once where there are lots of fabric shops and have some custom made for you if you can't find what you are looking for.
 
Azcuenaga street between av corrientes and tucuman you will find the main, traditional ones. For something with design, or custom made, is another chapter.
