My wife and I choose to move to Argentina in 2004, the day after the election, because we weren't pleased with the direction the States was moving. Our criteria was a country that offered good skiing, the people were OK (don't hate) Americans and the dollar is strong. We have now been here full time for 4 years and are extremely grateful to have made the move.
