Windband/Jazz/Music group for a clarinetist

Hi!
Im 19 and have just moved to BA with my clarinet in tow and was wondering whether anyone knows of any band or orchestra in need or a clarinetist? Or if anyone would be interested in starting some sort of band? Let me know, thanks!
