Working/teaching with DUI from USA

Hello all, I am tremendously interested in working/teaching in Argentina but am unclear whether having a DUI from the states (misdemeanor from 2008) is an automatic disqualification.

So far, the research Ive done is conflicting - declare it or dont declare it, get a CBC from another state so it doesnt show up, it depends on the job, etc.

Can anybody shed any light on the subject?

My state criminal background check was useless. I had to get an FBI background check. You might see about getting that and see if your DUI shows up.

I assume you will be working illegally.... so nobody is going to ask for a background check!
