Hello everyone,
I’m an English-speaking psychologist, certified yoga teacher, and yoga therapist in-training currently living in Argentina, and I’d like to offer yoga therapy, individual yoga sessions, and one-on-one psychological support to the English-speaking community.
Yoga therapy is different from regular yoga classes. It’s a therapeutic, individualized approach and is often closer to what people in the U.S. associate with physical therapy or rehabilitation-style movement rather than fitness yoga.
It can help with conditions ranging from the physical (such as frozen shoulder, sciatica, insomnia, chronic pain, pain management, digestive disorders, asthma, autoimmune issues, and general mobility limitations) to the mental (including depression, anxiety, stress, chronic tension, low energy, and overall well-being). It is suitable for all ages, body types, and also for people with physical limitations or disabilities. No prior yoga experience is needed.
In addition to yoga therapy, I also offer individual talk therapy in English. I’m a general psychologist with a particular interest and experience in working with anxiety, depression, addiction, and life transitions. This is an option for people who may prefer one-on-one conversations rather than group settings or formal clinical environments.
Sessions are offered online and are free or donation-based.
If this might be of interest to you or someone you know, feel free to send me a private message, and I’ll be happy to share more details.
Best,
Mary
