Does anyone know the USSD code or SMS number to get your phone number? At the moment I'm concerned that I've been topping up the incorrect number even though I used the number on the packaging both times.
The fact you can't download the My Movistar app isn't very helpful. How does anyone get...
Yes I only have $5 credit.
Same balance if I check via USSD or SMS to 444.
I still have one of the top up receipts but no credit even though it's almost 12 hours later.
Have a newly activated Movistar sim and topped up the number on the green pack with $200. When I went to buy a pack it told me I had insufficient credit.
So I went to another kiosco and topped up $200 again. Still no text through confirming the top up though the receipt has the right number...
Just someone with a strong sense of justice. Or maybe you can explain why concentrating wealth and means of production in the hands of those who have done nothing in particular to deserve it is morally justifiable
Christ I never thought I'd see so many extremist apologists for greedy land baron parasites in one place. Is this really typical for the expat scene here?!
I'm not going to book a flight through an agent even if there were time to do that.
Unfortunately I just found out that Aerolineas Argentinas only tell you after completing the booking that "Fares in argentine pesos (ARS) for flight in argentina are only for residents of argentina."
Seems this...
That was the point of my question: Is there any risk buying within Argentina with cheaper prices and bit being able to board because they are not valid without residency?
There's no risk buying flights from within Argentina (and getting quoted local prices) even if you don't have a DNI? I always thought this fare class was not valid for extranjeros.
What does one do if only in Argentina for a few weeks (so no bank account here) and needs to get pesos/dollars out to an account in Europe? Can you set up a SWIFT transfer somehow?
