    Oasis Tickets?

Does anyone know of these will be on sale tomorrow? I'm thinking about going with a couple of friends of mine, one of whom has tickets and the rest of us do not. Is it worth trying to buy them there?

    Great Sushi

Does anyone know of any good/cheap/both sushi restaurants in the San Telmo/Monserrat area? I'll be living near the Independencia subte stop...anything close by? Anything at all?

    ¿Dónde está.....

As for Maple Syrup, I searched pretty thoroughly recently in an effort to make french toast for some argentinian friends of mine, and was totally unsuccessful, so I ended up making my own from scratch. Obviously it didn't quite work - had to use vanilla extract to approximate the maple flavor -...

    ¿Dónde está.....

All three big grocery stores in Chinatown - Casa China, Asia Oriental, and Itchi Ban - sell various varieties of Peanut Butter. Casa China is SLIGHTLY cheaper than the rest. One thing to watch out for is wasting your money -- The cheapest brand is only 9 pesos, I think, maybe even less but it...

    indian and asian curry pastes

Casa China has a wide selection of Curry's and the lowest prices I've yet been able to find, so I'd recommend getting your stuff there. Just made Channa Masala with some spices I brought with me from the states, though...delicious!

    Cheap, fun hostel recommendations?

Let me ask you this -- if I'm coming from the airport, and I want to take the Manuel Tienda Leon shuttle, what hostel would be close to where the bus would drop me off? I know you can get the shuttle to take you to various neighborhoods, but presumably just a single spot in each neighborhood.

An FYI for Seafood Lovers in Argentina:

As someone moving to Buenos Aires in a bit, I have to say it's a bummer to hear about the expense of fish. Is there anywhere to get decent fresh fish that I can cook myself? I'm not a big, picky eater, and I'm very excited about the Asado culture, but I also like variety. I've heard of a few...

    Cheap, fun hostel recommendations?

Thanks for the recommendation! Question -- if one just gets a room in a dorm, do they have some kind of lockup for your valuables? I'll be bringing my computer with me, and I'd like to be able to store that somewhere.

    Cheap, fun hostel recommendations?

Hey again everyone! I'll be heading to Argentina for about 5 months coming up the beginning of April. I've been checking out rooms to rent via craigslist and there seems to be some nice stuff there, but I certainly don't want to commit until I see the place and me the people. Plus, I have a...
