OverStaying in argentina due to COVID-19

Ok, thanks for the correction. I have a DNI, but a friend who’s been here on a 90-day visa is heading to eze today. I’ve been telling her not to worry, based on what’s been posted here, but when she just asked me to send her the link I took the opportunity to misread it.....

OverStaying in argentina due to COVID-19

In reading this more closely see in articulo 3 in the above link the text “con excepción del artículo 24 inciso a) subcategoría turista”. I’m concerned about “con exception”. Is that actually saying people who arrived on a tourist visa in the relevant period are not included in these extensions...

Certificado Único Habilitante para la Circulación

Thanks Steve and dsp. Indeed, the back of my DNI shows the single-digit suffix to the DNI number. It doesn’t show the 2-digit prefix I was expecting to see, but I now understand that males get a 20 and females a 27. The government sites like the one above still don’t show a cuit/cuil for my DNI...

Certificado Único Habilitante para la Circulación

Hi everyone. Looking for advice/comments. I understand that to take the Tienda Leon bus from Mar del Plata to EZE to catch my flight back to the states (I hope) I am supposed to fill out an online form to request a certificado de circulation for “único habilitante”...

Anybody trying to fly out to get vaccinated and then return?

..... Also the vaccines do not cause the production of viral proteins in the nasal passage where the swab sample is taken.

Anybody trying to fly out to get vaccinated and then return?

I just want to provide a correction to what was written above. In general, the rapid “antigen test” (not “antibody”) in use for covid19 aim to detect the presence of a viral “nucleocapsid” antigen. They do not detect the “spike protein” antigen that the vaccines in use in the US cause your body...

Reduced flight schedules and current entry / exit requirements

I also see that Delta lists the return flight from EZE to ATL for Friday April 9 as cancelled, but EZE to ATL flights for Friday April 16 and Sunday April 18 are still scheduled as on time. Anyone know anything further about Delta's plans? Thanks.

OverStaying in argentina due to COVID-19

Hi. Can anyone confirm whether or not these overstay extensions did indeed end? If so, I take it then that someone who would have been irregular but for the extension back in May of 2020 will now need to pay the overstay fee before leaving, correct? Finally, does anyone know if the Migraciones...

    Argentina virtual phone number

Hi - Does anyone have a suggestion for a service that provides a low cost virtual/online Argentina telephone number? Skype, for example, does this for many countries, but not for Argentina. Thanks.

    Looking for a reliable VPN

I’ve been satisfied using NordVPN for the last 3 years. Usually no problem using it to access georestricted subscription content, e.g. Hulu, HBO, DirectTV etc.

Migraciones Asking For Social Security Card?

Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone has seen this before, and/or suggestions for proceeding. I just submitted to Migraciones (in Mar del Plata) what should have been ALL the documentation required to initiate the process for permanent residency based on marriage to an Argentinian. However I...
