    Lan Airlines Paying In Cash

We paid the exact same price as quoted for credit cards - no surcharge for paying with cash. Perhaps it's different if you're flying internationally instead of domestically.

    Beers In Ba

The Buenos Aires Market (http://www.buenosairesmarket.com/) this weekend and had some great beer by a smaller brewer called "Larsen." They had 4 types: Porter, Scottish Ale, Pale Ale, and Vostok. Not sure when/where the next market will be, but if you go, it's worth checking out this beer...

    Lan Airlines Paying In Cash

I've gotten so much great advice from this forum and wanted to share the outcome of my experience Buying tickets in cash - no problem. On 2 separate occasions I bought the tickets online from Lan, and then at the point of payment indicated I wanted to pay in cash. The website then provides a...

    Disruptions Due To Elections?

For those of you who have lived in BA through past elections, what disruptions, if any, might we expect? Will things be closed? Do people protest? Also, my boyfriend flies back to the US tonight (saturday) - do you suspect there will be protests or other unusual delays on the way to the...

    Lan Airlines Paying In Cash

I wasn't aware of services like Pago Facil, but as I dug further into the LAN website, there it was. It seems so easy (though I have yet to make the payment). Thanks for turning me onto that! During the reservation process, it only asked for our passport info, and that's it. If my boyfriend...

    Lan Airlines Paying In Cash

    Live Irish Music In Ba?

Thanks for the input. I will do a little more digging, but I'm not getting my hopes up. We'll have to check out some other live music instead - will search the forums to see what is recommended for music from this area. We've also got a concert at Teatro Colon on the schedule. Thanks again!

    Live Irish Music In Ba?

I was happy to learn from a quick search that there are quite a few Irish folk living in BA - at least more than I expected. My boyfriend is coming next week and he plays a wooden flute in Irish music sessions back home. Anyone know of any live Irish music in BA? A session that he could join...

Places To Watch Futbol In Belgrano?

Local games. When in Rome... If I were following my sport from home it would be college basketball, and I doubt I'll find much of that here when the season rolls around.

Places To Watch Futbol In Belgrano?

I'm new to the Belgrano neighborhood and am wondering where to go to watch futbol on TV. Watching matches in a bar/pub is so much more fun than watching at home. The neighborhood is filled with great cafes, but I haven't seen many bars. Any suggestions? I live near Cabildo and Plaza Belgrano...
