Anyone renewed a precaria online lately? Aug 2026

I went today, arrived a little before opening and waited about 90 minutes. They let me renew but only for a month. They told me I need my September bank statement come back in September blah blah.... Wish we could do more things online. Anyway, thanks as always for the help from all here.

Anyone renewed a precaria online lately? Aug 2026

Hi expat friends, My lawyers tried to renew my precaria online last month, it still says it is under review. So it has been under review for over a month. They called me today and said I will likely have to go in person to renew it. Anyone else had experience at this? It's a bit...

Your experiences with Paula Carello / Lux Brumalis?

I am currently using Paula, there were times where she was slow to respond, but it had nothing to do with my process so I wasn't too worried. It wasn't delaying it or anything. Overall her and her team have done a good job so far. I hired her in March? Can't exactly recall when. Arrived here...

What's a good dark roast coffee at home here?

A little less important than my other post today, home chronic coffee drinkers, which whole Bean do you like? I French pressed my coffee so can't do the molido. Everything I've been buying in my town, is okay, but looking for a bit better. I like it opaque like super opaque. Strong, full body...

Rensitsa Visa transfers... Western Union no bueno?

Hi all, In the process still for rentista. I sent recent bank statements and my lawyer told me at this time not to do them via western Union debit card, and to do direct bank to bank transfers. Did anyone else run into this problem? Thanks as always to anyone who replies.

Where do you buy bulk garlic and pepper?

Ok this may be a silly one but I checked the old threads before posting and didn't see anything. I'm in Monte Grande. In local stores the only garlic and pepper they sell are in the little plastic bags that kids sold weed in back in highschool when it was illegal. Salt is no problem. Went to...

    Well, where do I start....

Get a bank account here, that took me two months, I do transfers to the account with western Union from my USA debit card (lowest cost option I found, correct me if I'm wrong). I don't transfer more than $2,000 monthly. I also use my us credit card regularly at any place that doesn't charge...

    Well, where do I start....

I retired here myself this year to a smaller city outside Buenos Aires. But I am a newbie! I have only been here since April. Same as you, not Elon Musk, but I have a decent pension, and rental income from the United States. For me, I feel like life here is a little bit like Brooklyn in the...

Whats the cost to move into an apartment these days? Rent 650,000

I offered to pay a year up front, or 2 years really. I'm glad they didn't take me up on the offer. Because as soon as I moved in I had some problems with the water heater, and other little issues. If they had the whole rent up front, it would be easier that for them to screw you over.
