'I hate' the U.S., Maradona tells Chavez

I might be mistaken but apart from the dead people Evita and Guevera isn't Maradona the worldwide best known Argentinian out there?

'I hate' the U.S., Maradona tells Chavez

This is interesting and very extreme really. The whole world practically does however hold a grudge against the US these days, people feel as if blood has been spilt needlessly in Iraq and they fear that the same will happen in Iran creating unwanted world drama. Before 9/11, Alqaeda and Bush...

Hey Paul NL: talking about violent societies

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satisfaction_with_Life_IndexAccording to it Argentina is closer to the good ol USA than the USA is to Denmark. I wonder if the good people of www.danesintheusa.com are at this very moment chatting about what a piece of shit place them states are?

Hey Paul NL: talking about violent societies

Regarding that general sense of well being among the people some polls indicate that people in the US generally rate their life satisfaction at 7.4 while Argentinians rate it at 6.8, that's hardly a big difference to make loud statements about. Now I've said this before but I'll say it again...

Hey Paul NL: talking about violent societies

Not distorting anything, you said it, I quoted it but it would be pointless to do so again. There's nothing special about the USA and claiming that it's somehow above Argentina just isn't correct.

Hey Paul NL: talking about violent societies

So what if there should be far more people behind bars in Argentina? The same can be said for a lot of countries but then again it can also be questioned how if incarceration really is effective. But that does not change the fact that the US has the highest % of any country of people behind bars...

Why do you live in Argentina?

It is obvious from that reply auntieapple that you do Not! contribute to Argentina and your contribution to this site is also extremely debatable, nobody wants to read crap like that.

Hey Paul NL: talking about violent societies

"The legal system, while too litigious in my opinion (perhaps a sign of respect for human rights) works."Does the US not have the highest % of any country of people behind bars? Yes it does."While we can argue that there is “corruption” in the broad philosophical scheme of things (i.e. the war...

Why do you live in Argentina?

Most of these people are not really expats, they're more like wanderers or tourists. Anyone in a foreign country and glad to be there would call himself an immigrant, not an expat.

We offer full time job in Center.

It's all relative really. There are people in bsas working 5 days per week 10 hours per day for as little as 600 pesos and very happy with that.People hire other people to work for them to profit from them that is of course just the way that works but nobody forces one to take a job or to stay in...

    Argentine women

I thought that this reply here above was a REALLY REALLY GOOD one while most of the other stuff in this topic looks as if it comes from people suffering from some sort of inferiority complexes who are trying to make themselves look good but failing to do so by talking disrespectfully about others.
