we booked a "tren de alegria" for our sons birthday.It came on time and took the kids around the strets for 50 mins(including pitufos on board)similar to those in Mar Del Plata,the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.if you are interested let me know and I,ll give you a contact number,Howard

el bar Concurso in Recoleta was where we watched th 4.30 am ko last saturday morning...

if you are renting then of course it,s gonna be expensive.I bought my house,car, 5 years ago and have learnt to adapt,make sacrifices in certain things,I will not be leaving to go back to an even worse UK:rolleyes:

i used to have classes in a cafe and we paid half each...the classes are expensive enough as thay are,so do not offer to pay,only what you drink/eat,enjoy the experience...

we were watching England v Scotland in bar Concorso in Recoleta and 10 mins before the end they changed channel..not a bright thing to do at that point!!!!!! lol,

well,we rent out an apartment in San Isidro,in that block there is a "gentlemens" agreement to start at 8am,respect siesta time by stopping from 2pm until 4.30pm and then continuing after that,and it works well. good luck Lauren,maybe you can ask the portero if anything like that exists
