How do expats feel about the Luigi Mangioni situation?

You obviously don't know the law. We are way off topic on this site. I'll not respond to further posts on this thread. Thanks for your input, though.

How do expats feel about the Luigi Mangioni situation?

Yes, he was doing just that; defending people threatened by a lunatic drugged out thug. However, Alvin Bragg, the DA in NYC, charged him anyway. Luckily, a sensible jury in that city acquitted him. Bragg is the same person who stretched the law (actually subverted the law) to charge Trump with...

How do expats feel about the Luigi Mangioni situation?

The leftist do-gooders think that everyone has some good points and are worth saving. Your post nailed the issue to a "t". I believe even in NYC the killer will be found guilty despite him hiring a high priced esq as the acquittal of the subway hero proved; people everywhere are fed up with...

That has to be one of the most inane posts you've made on this site.

Argentina’s Javier Milei has made a horrible mistake

Don't know about your rental increase issues but I suggest you schedule a vision check as your claim to something I purportedly said is only in your purview. You must be seeing things, Red.

How do expats feel about the Luigi Mangioni situation?

Actually, to solve issues like whose fault it is, start with term limits for politicians that are bought and paid for by the healthcare industry who make the laws.

How do expats feel about the Luigi Mangioni situation?

Firing squad, hanging or electric chair for those who take law into their own hands by murdering someone.

    Bicycling in BA

Palermo has a big, beautiful and well maintained park with a bicycle path. My heart might be as old or older than yours but unless you ride in a park like that, make sure you have adequate health insurance as the drivers here are like out of a scene from Mad Max and the Thunderdome.

How's everyone hanging in there with the cost of living these days?

True: stop buying that stuff. Who really needs potato chips to survive?

How's everyone hanging in there with the cost of living these days?

Who, besides the corrupt pols here, are overcharging and forcing you to buy their stuff?

How's everyone hanging in there with the cost of living these days?

I just returned from the casino in Palermo. It was PACKED. And that's after many machines there were recently increased to A$2 with a minimum bet of 100 pesos. Most don't play minimum but more. That, coupled with the outdoor festival of asado and empanadas (which had prices high enough that even...

How's everyone hanging in there with the cost of living these days?

Were I to return to Miami-Fort Lauderdale, my costs would rise dramatically. Real estate taxes = up Insurance = up Food costs = up Auto costs (gas/repairs) = up And that's just for starters.

22% of the UBA medical students are foreigners

I was in Amsterdam some time ago, at a tavern/restaurant. I thought I'd use my 7 years of French to impress my guest but the waiter said it wasn't necessary to speak that language. So, to really turn on the charm I ordered a beer, in German, having spent months in that country. The waiter then...

You are incotrect to think "a French person studying in Germany" is not considered by the populace as a foreigner. The EU is FAR from one big happy family
