do i pay IVA when i buy real estate?

now the realtor won't even start the negotiation process unless i make a reservation, she calls it "la formalidad" but what's the point of making a reserva if the seller may not accept my offer? i can't possibly be making several reservas all over the place. i thought the negotiation procces...

do i pay IVA when i buy real estate?

this would be the ideal case scenario. it would really suck to make a reserva only to find out that there's a problem with the papers that i'm simply not willing to deal with.

do i pay IVA when i buy real estate?

ah good know. and can i make "reserva" at the escribano? i'm asking this because my escribano is the one who is going to tell me if the documentation is up to date before i commit any money. or do have to make that reservation at the realtor's office before my escribano can check the...

    Moving money within the country

just do the transaction locally at your bank, if you are the one buying. if you are the buyer, then get your seller to do it at a bank so you can deposit that money right there. otherwise take the risk of being stopped by policed or even robbed at a gun point. i would not take the risk, this...

Is there market demand for fresh oyster mushrooms (hongos girgolas) in Buenos Aires?

guess what happened: today i went for a long walk, as i always do, and for the first time ever, got stopped by three armed Gendarmeria police. they wanted to arrest me for not having an ID on me but as soon as I told them about my plan to grow mushrooms for sale, it made them laugh so hard that...

Argentina’s election won’t change its economic options

totally agree, it doesn't matter who gets elected. austerity pleasures will not only have to remain, but to also increase.

    Central Bank madness

i think there is no future of real growth. the country has to pay up for all this central bank stupidity and people's purchasing power cannot be rising unless the entire economy and the legal system get reinvented, which is very unlikely in the next decade. I predict that argentina will fall for...

Is there market demand for fresh oyster mushrooms (hongos girgolas) in Buenos Aires?

$52.90 Australian dollars is 1,629.03 Argentine pesos, not exactly cheap for one kilo of Enoki mushrooms but i'm not sure if the Australian purchasing power is directly convertible to that of Argentina lol...

    What Is Inflation?

they print like mad not only because they need to pay for subsidies and fund the votes but also because inflation is technically a tax on the consumer, the kind of tax that doesn't need any approval, they just slap it collectively on everybody resulting in reduced purchasing power, and now the...

Is there market demand for fresh oyster mushrooms (hongos girgolas) in Buenos Aires?

I totally agree, mushrooms at the stores are stupidly expensive, my prices will be reasonable for regular buyers. Yesterday, i saw champiniones for $600 pesos a kilo at a local grocery store. my gourmet mushrooms should be at least half that price.

Is there market demand for fresh oyster mushrooms (hongos girgolas) in Buenos Aires?

I'm not talking selling a lot or getting competitive, the idea would be low volume high value fresh gourmet mushrooms from the growroom straight to someone's kitchen counter, and if i can sell just enough to cover my bills and buy me some ebooks for reading on spare time, i would be happy as...
