Application to enter Argentina for commercial reasons

While prior the Embassy in the US said there was the possibility for an exception for work visas, as early as last week they said they would no longer entertain exceptions for non-essential workers. Minimum you have a few months, I would suggest waiting on criminal history reports until things...

Reduced flight schedules and current entry / exit requirements

I thought generally additional restrictions were announced with the extension of border closures, in this case April 9th being the closest date. Can we expect more restrictive measures on top of what's being proposed then?

US Tourist Visa Appointments for Arg Citizens Cancelled

If by chance his visa has expired in the last 12 months they can now see you for a renovación, beyond that I believe you're in it for the long haul.

Do I have any chance of getting into Argentina before COVID ends?

Yes, Argentina is granting Work Visas currently. If that's the route you're likely to go I'd start getting apostilled police reports and the like together because it can take ages under the current circumstances.

Has anyone gone through the Work Visa process?

    10. VISA INTERVIEW. All visa applicants are requested to appear in person for an interview with a consular officer. I mean that's where I'm getting the idea that there will be an interview, but I'm happy to know that it will likely be a breeze instead of a grilling.

So the whole process would take place in Argentina? Would that mean sending a passport overseas to get stamped?

Has anyone gone through the Work Visa process?

Saludos hivemind, The title says it all. I likely have a work visa interview taking place in the next few weeks. I was wondering what type of questions were asked and what kind of supporting evidence was asked for. Did you consider the officials particularly stringent? Of particular interest...

    Expiration of police clearance certificate

The Embassy of Argentina in the United States recently when asked has affirmed that there is a 90-day validity to all police reports despite there being a 2 and a half month turn-around time for apostilles here. You may want to reconfirm with someone at Migraciones.

    Tourism open yet?

https://www.argentina.gob.ar/interior/migraciones/ddjj-migraciones Does anyone else see it as highly unlikely non-bordering country tourists will be allowed this year? If some of the requirements are changing as of the 16th, I don't see why four days later they would make new exceptions. What a...

    Travel Possibilities?

I've been scouring any tourism related news myself, I will obviously be checking with the Embassy before leaving despite their legal instructions to proceed.

    Travel Possibilities?

The lawyer who is working on my Work Visa (yes, the Embassy of Argentina has said they will make exceptions for work visas) contacted me today and has told me United States citizens will be able to enter under a tourist visa as of November 29th. I haven't read anything to that effect anywhere...

    Travel Possibilities?

Soon international tourists from permitted countries will be able to travel outside of Buenos Aires, though I don't know technically if that would be allowed under a US passport. As of December 1st Argentinians will be free to travel where they please within the country with unified protocols in...
