    Recommend a book

Sorry, but i found Never Let me Go to be a big disappointment. Ishiguro is an author well spoken of, and highly recommended. I was really bored - he had a great idea and almost turned it into Chick-Lit. I'm thinking of trying another Ishiguro, as fans have told me there are better books, but...

The Savage Detectives by Roberto Bolaño, an all time favourite or as someone mentioned Murakami, I am a fan of another author from that country - Kenzaburo Oe, his book A Personal Matter is astonishing http://bookcellarbsas.com/

Big Party Tomorrow for CFK in Velez

I'm a 'brown person' according to how some people think. I guess because my dad is from India. I'm not actually that brown, but i'm pretty offended but what you said. Sorry to say, but i think the US military has caused more problems than they have resolved.

Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Sour Cream

maybe there is a UK/USA definition problem, but i always thought real vanilla were vanilla pods or sticks. Seen them in barrio chino and plenty of other health food shops. Bit surprised at this thread. Philadelphia or vanilla pods seem like easier things to find... Does anyone know where to get...

How much would you pay for this apartment?

$3300 might be high - but it is Belgrano R. Which, even for Argentines is a very expensive part of town. Go and have a coffee there by the plaza. Then you'll see what the prices are like. It is a very nice neighbourhood all the same.

    If Not Argentina Then Where?

What I have learnt from this forum: It does not make the world neither happier nor smarter. That i am a masochist, and i keep reading to punish myself for my nosiness. That 95% of what people say either does not apply to me, frustrates me or is just wrong. I like provoking.
