Removal Of Tariffs On Import Of Computer Products

And a whiff of viveza criolla in the air if the importers don't pass on the savings. Well, they may pass on 5% if we're lucky...

    Sad But True.

The big difference is that Thatcher declared open warfare on the unions, particularly the Nation Union of Mineworkers, resulting in the decimation of the mining industry, causing havoc and heartache for millions of people in the north of England. Not a good comparison at all, because the...

New Immigration Decree, Long Life To King Macri!

I wasn't aware of that (having to use the Arg passport) so thanks for letting me know. I was always under the impression that people with dual nationality could use either. ***wanna is one of my pets hates also, along with 'my bad'.

New Immigration Decree, Long Life To King Macri!

I don't have time to trawl through posts, so here's the question. Assuming you're an expat, it would follow that you have another passport apart from your Argentine one, so why don't you enter and leave on the other one... Brit, French or US or whatever? I don't profess to be an expert, but it...

Salta Or Cafayate Living? What's Most Scenic?

Given the choice I'd probably choose Cafayate over Salta as it has a friendly, small town atmosphere. I passed through both on my motorbike last year and the ride from Cafayate to Salta on RN68 is stunning, passing through Quebrada de las Conchas. A must see!

Perhaps you could be more explicit? Which police? Or are you referring to immigration officials? What kind of questions were they asking you and at what stage of your entry did this take place?

    Button Has Arrived At Ezeiza

UK Man, when we arrive in the UK, we don't have our baggage checked on arrival, only on leaving. There's a big difference. Here, it's like a kind of persecution.

    Button Has Arrived At Ezeiza

If I remember correctly, the last time I came through customs at EZE a couple of years ago I queued with everyone else and placed my baggage on the conveyor to hell just like anyone else, not having seen a red or green lane. Anyway, I had a fair bit of stuff, including motherboards, loads of...

    Button Has Arrived At Ezeiza

    Latam To Heathrow?

Anyone had any experience flying Aeroparque/Sao Paulo/Heathrow with Latam? We're considering it for a trip in a few months and it seems to be around 300 USD cheaper than BA/Iberia from EZE.

    Button Has Arrived At Ezeiza

Hands up who declares their cellphone when EXITING Ezeiza? Thought not. Successive governments simply perpetuate the myth that the grass is greener and that imported goods are verboten, Nirvana even and we look across to the horizon in some false hope that things are better somewhere else. If...

    Spanish / Italian Driving Licence

The rules may have changed since, but in 2009 I simply presented my UK license in Vicente Lopez, paid a small fee for photos etc, took an eye and road sign test and the license turned up a week later, no other questions asked. I did the same two years ago for renewal and added motorcycles, again...
