    Airbnb alternative

Is there any site equivalent to Airbnb? Looking for a few days here and there and prefer not to pay USD, which is the only currency Airbnb accepts. Is there a site that allows you to pay in pesos, either on credit card, or in person upon arrival, for homes (not hotels)? Thanks!

    Rental cars in cash?

Amazing-thanks! Even with the big guys like Avis? They just take a deposit on the card for insurance? Also, if the price is listed in dollars when I book, do they just convert to pesos at the official rate?

    Can't book Colonia Express

Looks like I’ll need to gamble and hope tickets are available when I arrive or pay double on direct ferries, , In our case it is for 3 tickets, so it's 120.

    Can't book Colonia Express

Is that the only way? I'll have to pay double because I won't get blue dollar rate, right? Or do they bill in pesos? what I’m saying is I’ll pay double(or really 40% more) because I won’t get the blue rate. Paying in Uruguayan pesos will unequivocally be more expensive. As an example, I booked...
