    No it's not. I have lived in Buenos Aires for over 5 years. No Argie bank account or credit card. I have permanent residency. I have no problem paying my monthly bills at PagoFacil. The banks here suck.

    Como llego is not good at keeping routes up to date. Many routes are changing in the San Telmo area because of pedestrianizing streets. My particular peeve is colectivo # 39. The route on Como Llego in no way resembles where the bus actually goes.

    At my favorite restaurants, 15 to 20%. The food is great and I get great service. At a typical argie cafe that I may go to occasionally, 10%.

    You can go to an ANSES office with your passport. I got mine at the Retro train station. They had a stack . You can share a card. It just has to be tapped for each person.

    You will get the official rate at any ATM. And a huge fee for using a foreign card. If you get an Argentine debit card, you will get the official rate minus the fee. With a withdrawal limit. If you got blue rate pesos from Western Union, you could deposit those into your Argentine bank account.

    If you have had good sushi , you will be disappointed no matter where you go in Buenos Aires. There is little variety. All the salmon is farmed. And its very hard to find anything without creme cheese in it. And the rice is never right.
