    Advice for living in Microcentro

    So this will be my first time in BsAs. I have rented apartment on Reconquista close to Viamonte. Going there early in January for a month to dance tango... and maybe hit Uruguay beaches. Depends on tangueras ;-) I would welcome a few cents of your collective wisdom about living at this...

    I am coming in January and first order of business will be custom made shoes which can accommodate orthotics (i.e. the volume of the shoe must be bigger than a regular shoe and thus require a special order) I would appreciate any leads where to order....

    I have been perusing prices on uruguay.com for Jan/Feb 2011 For residents of US/Canada they want ~400$ per week with only basic insurance For other residents (e.g. Europe, Australia) they want ~300$ with full insurance. How come? Shall I use my other passport? :) Gracias, A
