I've had the same experience, they seem very unmotivated to rent anything, and it's not a monthly rental payment they get a lump sum for the 2 year rental commission, we're not asking them to mange it which would be a monthly fee. If you find anyone msg me!!!!

I think that's gonna be a judgement call for the customs officer, otherwise they wouldn't be checking manufactured dates... I mean they have no way of knowing what you already have in the country, and if it's pretty new they probably have the right to charge you tax.

Another question is if this will be a long term change or something that happens for a short time and then things revert back to before as is often the case. Hopefully people continue to weight in on their experiences over the coming months.
