    Well… :’)

Could Milei win in the first round?

Do people genuinely think Massa is a dead cert(well as certain as one can be) to win? Forgive my ignorance, but I don’t see how a Bullrich voter would switch to Massa over Milei in the second round

    Crossing the Bolivian border

Enquired with a lot of rental agencies and none of them allow it. A few are okay with crossing to Chile, Brazil etc but none with Bolivia. Going to spend an extra couple of days at a vineyard instead and let the vino flow

    Crossing the Bolivian border

Hello everyone I’ll be hoping to cross into Bolivia from La Quiaca later on this year with a rental car. Does anyone have experience of doing this and if so, would you mind sharing how it went and what sort of documentation was needed? Most hire car companies don’t have sufficient info online...

Why would anyone come to this country in this century?

Most people take for granted the countries they live in (Europe, US, Canada etc) and after a while become miserable and only see the negatives, like I did with the typical mundane English lifestyle and constant crappy weather. Moving to Argentina was a breath of fresh air but after a while I...

Requirements for UK tourist visa for Argentines

My wife is Argentine, can confirm you don’t need a visa to visit the UK. You will be given a 6 month stamp at the border

Present requirements to enter Argentina from the US

I entered today, nothing was checked by the airline and the only thing checked by migraciones was my vaccine passport. No DDJJ, no health insurance etc. They told me I need a PCR between days 5 and 7, but online I can’t see anything about this. Anyone know if we still need a PCR post arrival??

    PCR question at Ezeiza

Hi all Apologies if this question has already been asked somewhere but I can’t find it. I’ve got a flight leaving London Saturday evening, and we land in Ezeiza 10am local time sunday (after a short stop in São Paulo). What I want to know is, are migraciones expecting the PCR to be within 72...

    Argentina Entry Covid Test Requirments

Sure, but if I haven’t tested positive, then I will never have that doctors note showing recovery. What I mean is, I could have unknowingly contracted the virus early december (without taking a test) and then that may make my pre flight test positive. Tricky situation

    Argentina Entry Covid Test Requirments

It’s a real headache to travel at the moment. If you have had covid in the last 90 days, your PCR test is likely to show up as positive. Here in the UK omicron is sweeping through the country and has been for some time, so there’s a good chance I have contracted it even if I don’t know it, which...

    Argentina Entry Covid Test Requirments

If I could just get a rapid test that would be great, however it pretty specifically mentions “PCR”..

    Argentina Entry Covid Test Requirments

Where can tourists get a PCR test in Argentina? Can you simply just walk into a local hospital and get one, and also, do they cost or are they free? Haven’t been in Arg since 2019 so am out of the loop in regards to how things are working over there

    When will borders open?

Hello all, hope everyone is well. Myself and my Argentine wife are desperate to travel back to Arg from the UK to see her family (it’s been 2 years now) but obviously Argentina’s borders are closed... any mention over there of when they might start opening up again? I don’t have residency there...

    Maximum visa runs to Uruguay

Yeah by the sounds of it you got the same woman as me. Young ish woman who seemingly can’t read a passport very well, as I had only 4 different entry stamps into Argentina over a period of about 2 years ( I had been living in and out of the country) so in other words my situation was completely...

    Maximum visa runs to Uruguay

Depends entirely on the immigration officer you get. Some are fine, some are on a power trip who will jump at the opportunity to give you a bollocking. That’s likely the worst that will happen though. I think deportations in Argentina are a rare occurrence in comparison with the vast majority of...
