Anybody else notice coffee recently not tasting good?

In Carrefour here, they have anti-theft devices on cans of tuna fish!

Thanks for the suggestion but it's not my cup of tea!

Anybody else notice coffee recently not tasting good?

To bring this up again while looking for a sensible alternative: coffee has returned to markets but it's predominantly all the crappy blends with sugar. One of two super premium offers, like Starbucks, are the equivalent of over US $18 for 250 grams (around 8 ounces). I'd never even pay that is...

Who has left or is planning to leave?

And go where else? My friends/family are in Argentina and, though haven't been back to Miami for 4 years and I'd only go back to close out business there. From what I read, the US is a mess right now and I blocked off Europe decades ago. The grass ISN'T greener anywhere else. I enjoy being here.

Argentina battles dengue surge and repellent shortage

Try Fuji unless you enjoy paying more for Raid, which of course is fine with me.

Argentina battles dengue surge and repellent shortage

Today one Pigmento had Fuyi for around 3000 pesos. I bought it, it works very well and the fragrance is good.

    Mosquito repellent

On Friday as I was walking to my local train station a neighbor passed by, stopped and suggested I go to Pigmento as they had Off. I went in, saw a long, long line and 2 can limit for 3,900 each. Playing into the fever, I waited, bought 2 cans and left. A sad state of affairs when there are...

I transferred money through WU this morning and picked it up at 1630 hours without any issue. All in the thousand peso bills.

Any ideas why the blue and MEP rates have dropped so much this month?

My Nampe wine inflation gauge remains practically unchanged as each 750ml bottle is still, when on sale, less than $2 US. Carrefour has a new stock of Nampe Malbec 2023 at 2500 pesos BUT buy 3 and only pay for 2. So each bottle about 1700 pesos. All is well.

Is the Milei "Transformation" Failing Already?

I grow my own lettuce, plus tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and squash on a small plot of land. It's easy!

The manipulation today by the big players make the 1978 actors look like amateurs.

Speculators control the markets, not mom and pop dollar holders. I'm still convinced the dollar will go back up, albeit when is a good question. Rest assured the big players have and are making lots of profits on the exchange rate variations.

Is the Milei "Transformation" Failing Already?

I've called some politicians far worse but calm your feathers as this is not a political gossip site. As for vermin, feel free to take a stroll in certain cities in the US (and of course in Argentina) at night. That title will be mild if and when you're done the walk. As for politicians...
