Of the 40,117,096 people living in Argentina (20,593,330 women and 19,523,766 men), 4.5% are foreign nationals representing 1,805,957 people, according to the 2010 census.

A majority of the foreigners are females, mainly from Brazil, Paraguay and Peru, in the case of Paraguay the number of women is 25% higher than that of men.

Main reasons for the female domination is that there are more job oportunities for females(made, cleaninglady, babysitting, prostitution) and because there are way more woman then men in Paraguay because almost all men were killed in the 1880 war with Argentina
