2015 World's Best Places To Retire Index

Ok. I always take this International Living index with a big grain of salt and I'm not nearing retirement, but it's interesting nonetheless. Argentina didn't even register this year.

I tend to agree that Colombia is becoming a good destination. joe, I think is traveling there so I would love to here his comments. my girlfriend is from a family of doctors in Medellin. I build medical so I know when doctors are full of it .the doctors are well schooled and compassionate. the prices are good and the quality is evident. they now have a free trade agreement with the US so places like walmart or variations thereof are starting to show up, with a better selection of goods with cheaper pricing. I still think the housing is higher than argentina. do not think it was a deal. I still prefer Buenos aires to Medellin for activities and ease of movement on the streets. you petty much need a car to get around Medellin but it is a beautiful city. I am starting to believe in the quality of care in BA. I have a transplant hospital down the street from me and nobody renting during the process has had problems.
