I don't have any financial connection to this apartment, I've just met the dueña before and she's a nice person so I thought I'd share. In my opinion the price feels a little high, but the location is great.

Furniture somewhat dated but some people like that. I live around the corner from this apartment. All things considered....I would grab it if you need 3 bedrooms with annex......not many of those around and the price will be higher for 3 bedrooms .....in my opinion. The location is the best.

Thinking again after some time......for $1550 .....I would have grabbed this for myself for sure.

I remember four years ago in Bangkok, I had a two bedroom luxury apartment in downtown Banngkok commercial area for $500 dollar a month.
Buenos Aires is kind pricey, really. My Argentine gf told me when she was in college, in BA on Corriente a humble apartment was about $100-$150USD. But of course that was around 2006.

Renting at USD when the government is committed to preventing appreciation is a bold move. Something tells me this isn't a 2 year contract.
