$500.00 Bills

It is said one can tells the state of a nation's economy by looking at the condition of its bills. I was in Japan this month and they all looked new even the smallest denomination. When I was recently in Burkina Faso and Albania, I could barely recognize the denominations of many bills. The only resaon the 100 peso notes are not in such bad shape is because they seems to just keep on churning them out of the presses. Amado kept thoses presses working 24/7! And people dare say he did nothing!!!, 9 for him, one for the pueblo.
 
Here in Sicily, nobody wants to give change. everybody wants small denominations.
