El Banco Central de la República Argentina (BCRA) anunció hoy a plan to issue 500 Peso notes based on the Cuban $3 Peso note

The new notes will be streaming from ATM machines in the near future. The minister said that the exchange of 5 Evitas to one Che was about the right
ratio.

This follows another Argentina copy of putting famous figures on buildings. Che on Havana building:

Evita on Buenos Aires building:

In addition the Minister said "detailed" discussions were ongoing between Argentina and Cuba on sharing the three peso coin. This would be a followup to the two peso Malvinas coin. The minister said that the dual use of this coin in two Latin American countries would be first and signal the birth of a movement like the Euro. The minster further stated that the coin would satisfy the unexplained Argentine fascination with holding foreign currencies, especially the abnormal fetish for US dollar bills:

Dude, when will you stop trolling?

Source?
Who might this unnamed "Minister" be? From which country and what portfolio? On whose parliamentary proposal? And where is the previous propaganda barrage that precedes such "popular" move?

Dec. 28 was last year and April 1st is still way ahead.

Give it a rest, will you? It ain't funny.

Wont happen,

Christina would rather we all go shopping like this.

Come on! It's reasonably funny, no?

In order to emphasize the new $500 Che note is legal tender, the President Kirchner released a revised version of B-52's hit Legal Tender:

Letras:

We're in the basement learning to print, all of it's hot.
[background=rgb(230, 239, 248)]10-20-30 million pesos ready to be spent.[/background]
[background=rgb(230, 239, 248)]We're stackin' 'em against the wall[/background]
[background=rgb(230, 239, 248)]The Revolutionary Che.[/background]

[background=rgb(230, 239, 248)]Livin' simple and trying to get by[/background]
Pero Tesoro , prices have shot through the sky.
So I fixed up the basement with what I was a-workin' with.
Stocked it full of dulce de leche jars and heavy equipment.
We're in the basement, 10-20-30 million pesos, ready to be spent.

Walk into the bank, try to pass that trash.
Teller sees and says, "Boludo, that's fresh as grass."
See the street pass under your feet,
In time to buy the latest model getaway shoes.

Presidente de la Nación Argentina
Cristina Fernández de Kirchner,

I approved this message!

No.

"reasonably", seriously?
Promoting division and opening old wounds is hardly a President's or government's job.
Had you realy experienced hiperinflation once or twice in your life you would probably find it hard to joke about it, unless you're are in the thick of it. It is never "reasonably funny" or a joking matter.

Also, Joe's previous "funny" post was also on the same vein. All originallity exhausted after the first try. These are hardly laughing matters in the current situation. IMO.
